A shingle style house is at home nestled into the the woods

A new custom home pays homage to turn of the century shingle-style houses. With its stone base and hunter green windows and trim, this house feels right at home in the Northeast, whether in Newport, Rhode Island or its actual idyllic, woodsy location in Wayland. The house also looked to the history books as the roof profile is an abstraction of the beautiful old Wayland water stations that were used to pump reservoir water to Boston.
