The hamlet of Waban sets the stage for a new contemporary house. Its form is rooted in the New England vernacular, especially in the window proportions and massing, while at the same time our design offers a nod toward the contemporary. Facing the street, the wings of the home create an auto-court to define a sense of entry for the public realm. Around back, the house opens to an array of glass door sliders, connecting living spaces with the landscape.
