Globe writer Elizabeth Gehrem said in the article , “that an addition , even one that just about doubles a homes size, does not have to look like an afterthought”. Our task in adding on so much to a traditional cape was how to do so such that the end result seemed as if it was the original house design. That is exactly what we set out to do.
