The Narrows, Orleans, MA

Perched on a hilltop overlooking grassy meadows and a salt marsh pond

Perched atop a rise, and a stone’s throw from Pleasant Bay Narrows on Cape Cod, this house is a village of single-story volumes, each with a specific program. At the center and facing a pond is an open concept living, dining and kitchen cathedral room flanked by two bedroom wings.  Each volume remains autonomous while low roof connectors offer separation and suggest points of entry with their respective transparency.
